Underwater ROV Search and Recovery Services

We offer underwater search and recovery services in lakes, coastal areas, ponds, and almost any type of water body (including those with biological, chemical, or physical hazards).

Our operation system provides low deployment profile and carbon emission; long autonomy (> 4 hrs. of continuous operation) and depth operational range (up to 330ft or100 m); high resolution search camera (4K, 60fps), even at zero light conditions; full 360° omnidirectional freedom in underwater mobility, hovering and posture hold for real 3D search and high-resolution video recording; and robotic arm operation for target retrieval.

MARES also provide specialized ROV support for underwater maritime archaeological survey, research, documentation, and salvage/recovery planning.

Underwater ROV Dock/Pier Inspections Service

Inspection and documentation of rotting, erosion, rust, and structural damage in sub surface structures of marinas, piers, and docks in coastal areas, lakes, ponds, and in any water reservoir.

With full 360° omnidirectional freedom in underwater mobility, hovering and posture hold, we can inspect and document structures like columns, pillars, beans, steams, and footers, as well as mooring chains.

We can also perform assessment of the presence of obstructions or any type of safety hazards.

Underwater ROV Boat Hull Inspections Service

Boat/vessel sub surface, in-situ hull inspection including transom, rudders, shafts, hinge, propeller/thrusters, chimes/sea chest, sacrificial anode, and through-hull fittings.

We also perform assessment and documentation of physical defects, biofouling, cracks, surface discoloration, and water intrusions.

Fish Farming and Stocking Aquaculture Facilities Inspection

Fisheries Stock Success Assessment.  Evaluation of a fish population's reproductive health by analyzing how well fish stock is contributing to the next generation is essential in determining if the current population is producing enough young fish to sustain itself in the future and to guide future fisheries management actions. Using our ROV services, we can provide visualization of fish nesting/spawning characteristics including distribution, abundance, and health. Our services can also include collection of eggs for genetic identification and health status analysis

MARES also offers fish pond inspection for the aquaculture industry, small and large.  Routine check for structure damages, water quality, and fish health in fish farms are essential for maintaining optimal production with high-quality standards and to early identify potential problems.

The MARES ROV system provides not only high resolution and real-time video capturing to assess underwater structure conditions (lining/mesh ruptures, base cracking, bottom debris accumulation) and fish welfare (nesting, swimming activity, skin infections/damage, and death), but also a set of integrated sensors to measure water quality parameters.  MARES ROVs also are capable of in-situ water sampling and dead fish retrieval for further laboratory analysis.

Underwater ROV Photography and Videography Documentation Services

With its 166 degrees ultra-wide 4k camera (60 fps), full 360° omnidirectional freedom in underwater mobility, hovering and posture hold, and AI vision lock, the MARES ROV system provides professional underwater photography and videography for the following services:

.- Pre-diving planning (either for pleasure or work)

.- Aquatic wildlife and archeological surveys

.- Environmental impact assessment.
